Title: Does the Ruijie EG105GW-X router support Tailscale VPN?
Anyone know if the Ruijie EG105GW-X wifi router supports Tailscale mesh VPN? And how to set that up? Thanks.

in my opinion supposed to be working, however you cannot install it on the device it self.

tailscale as far as I know only support on Linux OS, Raspbery, Armbian, Windows, Mac, iOS and Android.

there is no such apps that can be installed on ruijie device, unless you can root it. since Ruijie also running on Linux (I believe and using LuCi as it interfaces).

my advice, get unused device or arm devices such as unused STB and flash it. then run it under your network and then expose the subnet that you wished to have an access using tailscale. the following is mine for example
tailscale running natively on Ubuntu (in my case is using linux)

then expose the internal subnet of yours

the following is my network diagram
ISP Router (192.168.100.1) ----- My Wifi Router (192.168.1.1) ----- my server where tailscale is running (192.168.1.10)

I'm exposing 192.168.0.0/24 so I can access my ISP Router too, however if you only want to access your personal router you can change the subnet to 192.168.1.0/24

EG105GW-X can only support IPsec VPN, L2TP VPN, PPTP VPN and OpenVPN，Wireguard VPN.

Hi.
I didn't say tailscale installed it on Ruijie devices.. it must be installed on another devices and connect to the ruijie as the router.
