When an account expires, is it only possible to reactivate it manually?

I'm setting up a captive portal, with the registration option, by simply entering my email address.

But once I log in and the period expires, the account expires, and I can't log in again with the same account. Could you explain how it works?

Hello sir,
After the account expires, you need to create a new account, and after the account is created, you will receive an email to activate the account. You need to manually activate the account, otherwise the account will automatically expire after one month.

But in the captive portal, I selected the registration option (email only), not the account option. The intention is that they only have to enter their email address to access the internet, without having to register.

It is not the portal authentication that needs to be activated, but the cloud account that creates the portal authentication that needs to be activated
