Hello All,
Im a new in our company, my scenario existing set-up i have SW1 and SW2 this two is aggregated,VSU setup and connected to Core SW via Fiber, the other SW3 connected to the SW1 via trunk mode because.of fiber defective.We have planning add two copper cable to increase speed to aggregate from SW3 to SW1, Im thinking for the setup if have going loop?or anything issue?Seeking for help assistance based on your exprience?Thanks for your response.

Sir, if SW3 is only used as a link aggregation for the lower layer and does not change the VSU of SW1 and SW2, then it will not have any impact.

OK nice, so you mean If i configure port channel to SW3 and SW1 then aggregate then trunk mode,We have existing trunk port 1 on SW3 going to SW1 so i disconnected it rigth after port channel activated?.Thanks

Hello,

Is there currently a connection between SW3 and SW1 via a fiber? Do you want to add two copper
cables to configure port aggregation to increase the speed between SW3 and SW1? If I'm not mistaken, this might indeed cause a loop. Therefore, it is recommended that you remove the fiber connecting SW3 and SW1, and SW3 and SW1 can communicate through the aggregated copper link afterwards.

Connection of SW1 and SW3 is 1 copper 1g only no fiber only trunk mode. But SW1 and SW2 VSU and Fiber connection.
