I'm the IT Manager at a hotel in Koh Samui, Thailand. We want to enable Screen Mirroring Isolation so guests can cast from their phones to only the TV in their own room.
Our setup:
• Controller: RG-WS6008
• APs: RG-AP180 (wall-plate, one per room)
• TVs: LG Pro:Centric Smart TV (connected to AP180 LAN port)
I've read the AP180 product page and it mentions Screen Mirroring Isolation with QR code pairing — but it also says "API integration needed with Hotel's TV Manufacturer" to display the QR code on TV.
Questions:
1. Is there a step-by-step config guide for enabling this feature on WS6008 + AP180?
2. How does the API integration with LG TV work exactly? Do we need to coordinate with LG, or does Ruijie provide a connector?
3. What firmware version is required on both WS6008 and AP180?
4. Any recommended VLAN / network design for this hotel casting scenario?
5. Has anyone here actually deployed this with LG TVs? Would love to hear your experienc
