The RG-S2915-L and NIS3100 devices form an ERPS ring, the RPL owner port is set onthe RG-S2915-L, ports on the NIS3100 devices are configured as normal ports, and the normal ports on the ERPS are set to the blocked state.

Cause Analysis

MEL Level is set incorrectly.

4. Solution

The MEL Level on the NIS3100 devices is 7. When the MEL Level is changed to 0, ERPS works normally. The RPL owner port is in blocked state, and the normal ports are in forwarding state.
