Rg-eg710xs PPPOE server issue after power outage
|
I have issue with RG-EG710XS running firmware ReyeeOS 2.342.0.1713 running PPPOE server. After power outage (not everytime) in some situation PPP user group become empty. This caused user could not login. I set the PPPOE group on eweb. I need to add PPPOE group manually after this condition, turn off the PPPOE server and restart. After boot process I need to start the PPPOE server manually than the system will work properly again. I' ve check on cloud there are no PPPOE group configuration on cloud. My suspicion is cloud synchronization. Since on cloud there are no PPPOE group definition. Could you update the firmware to fix this issue please Tenny |

It happen due utility poweroutage, also not every power outage. It's bit confusing. I've planned to install battery backup for this issue. Meanwhile, I need to check the PPPOE user group every poweroutage. If the table empty, I need to add manually and restart the router. According to firmware, it seem the version 2.342 bit outdated, I've the upgrade page on cloud, there are unselectable version 2.410 ![]() ![]() It already happen twice since early March 2026.
