160MHz Channel Bandwidth Option Missing for Indonesia (ID) Region – RG-EW3000GX
51 4 2026-8-5 10:26:36
Original
issue with the 5GHz channel bandwidth option on my Ruijie Reyee RG-EW3000GX router.
[strong]Device Information:[/strong]
  • Model: RG-EW3000GX
  • Firmware version: ReyeeOS 1.380.1622
  • Country/Region setting: Indonesia (ID)
In the Wireless Settings → Radio Frequency page, the 5G Bandwidth dropdown only offers Auto, 20MHz, 40MHz, and 80MHz. The 160MHz option is not available, even though the RG-EW3000GX is officially specified to support 160MHz channel bandwidth. Additionally, the Country/Region field is locked and cannot be changed to test other regional profiles.
Could you Please explain or fixing about this, because in datasheet this device already support for 160Mhz.
thank you

Hi,sir.

Due to Indonesia's wireless safety regulations, newly manufactured devices are required to have their country codes locked and strictly select channel bandwidths available in Indonesia.
Therefore, we cannot make adjustments for you. We will open the modification channel when relevant regulations permit.

Dear Sir,
Noted. But i got information about regulation that : Based on Indonesia's current spectrum regulations (Kominfo/Komdigi Regulation No. 2/2023 and its amendment No. 2/2025), the 5150–5350 MHz band is now permitted for use up to 160MHz channel bandwidth. Maybe reyee's Teams can confirmation about that regulation and hopefully can be adjust that firmware.

Hi,sir.

The 160Mhz only supports 36-48 and 52-64 channels.
You need change the channels first. Then change the bandwidth.

Dear Sir,
I have changed the channels manually to 36, but bandwidth option only show 20, 40, 80 Mhz.
Anyway, it's ok for this case. I understand that regulation make limit in bandwidth.
thank you
