May I know your device model?
And what do you mean by restricting administrator IP access to the GUI? Could you elaborate on how you want to access the device? If our devices are in the cloud, customers can create a tunnel to log in through the cloud, or they can log in locally using the default IP address.

1. In what case do I need to disable https?
2. do you mean I don't need https/http after I joining AP into cloud
3. since I disable both http/https, can I use console if I need manual changes (NOTE: not all AP has console)

Hello,


1. You may need to disable HTTPS (port 443) mainly as a safety measure, if you don't plan to use HTTPS to manage your devices it's a security best practice to disable non-using ports.
2. You need it for the GUI.
3. You can manage your devices using console (if available) or SSH for Enterprise devices.
