I. Overview When the Dynamic Domain Name System (DDNS) service is enabled, external users can access the device's resources using a fixed domain name, without needing to look up the WAN interface IP address. The device supports three DDNS protocols: Ruijie DDNS, No-IP DNS, and DynDNS. II. Application Scenarios 1. When the egress line uses a dial-up connection with a dynamic IP address, binding the dialer interface to the registered domain name allows the domain name to be associated with the IP address for Internet access. 2. Once DDNS is successfully configured, you can access a server or device with a dynamic IP address using the domain name, without needing to manually update the IP address. III. Configuration Notes Before using the DDNS service, you must register an account and domain name with a third-party DDNS provider. IV.
