Application scenario When the number of LAN ports on existing devices (such as routers and switches) is insufficient, by bridging and adding additional ports to the same Layer 2 network, the number of access points can be directly expanded without the need for additional configuration of independent subnets. Configuration steps You need to log in to the eweb interface of the device and then navigate to the "network" option. Click on "interface", then select "interface conversion"  Click on the drop-down option and select "L2" for the port type.  Note: 1. After changing the port to L2 port, when the PC connects to this port, it will obtain the IP and DHCP server information configured for LAN 0. 2. It is not support to manually select to obtain DHCP from other ports. |
