The error "module AP-WBS, reason code 16" appears very often.
This causes the client to be completely disconnected from the network.
What could be the reason for this problem?




We have:
WS-6012L, AC_RGOS 11.9(6)W6B1, Release(12171402)
AP840-LAP_RGOS 11.9(6)W3B1, Release(11190307)
AP680-LAP_RGOS 11.9(6)W3B1, Release(11160203)
AP680(CD)AP_RGOS 11.9(6)W3B1, Release(11160203)

Dear customer,
Are all users experiencing this issue? What are the specific symptoms?  And what is the Wi-Fi signal strength of the STA when it disconnects? Is the AP's signal utilization normal?  Also, did this problem occur suddenly? Could you try upgrading the AP to the latest version and testing again?  You can download the latest firmware on the official website.

Problems most often occur on mobile computers for warehouse workers (Zebra, Urovo).
Because as even a short-term loss of wireless connection cause to the loss of a session with the WMS server.
It does not depend on the signal strength of the STA.

We will try to update the AP. But the problem is that updates are not available for all models.

At sites where WS6008 or WS6108 controllers are used, we do not observe such problems.
We have WS6012-L installed on several sites. And we experience similar problems almost everywhere.

Am I correct in understanding that there is no new software version for controller WS6012-L?
And the only version at the moment is W6B1?

For the WS6012-L, the latest version id W6B1. But for AP840-L and AP680-L, you can upgrade to W5 (the latest).  https://www.ruijie.com/en-global/resources/software/ap680-l-ap-firmware/680-lw5/
